This short tour has a great combination of ecology, archaeology and colonial era cities.  We will start with a short adventure to the active Pacaya Volcano that has a non-explosive continuous lava flow. Almost nowhere in the world, including Hawaii, can you go up to the flowing streams of molted rock.. You can stand on solid lava and dip your walking stick into the molted lava flowing a couple feet below, or roast marshmallows, (no casualties to date). After the colorful city of Antigua we will go to the national parks of Copan and Tikal, where you will be able to see toucans, hummingbirds, parrots, monkeys and a variety of wild life.
