Why Choose Us
• We have the only quality lodges accessing the archaeological zones. All other hotels are located in towns or on farms of owners typically 20 km from the ruins. Our lodges are strategically located to serve you in – the best location, location, location. We also use the best hotels and mansions located in towns throughout our zone when these are closer to other ruins. This eliminates hours of extra time every day on unpaved roads of our zone and supports the local economies. • Our quality co-op lodges are donations to the village’s tourists committee. These provide income for security and restoration of ancient monuments, trails, etc. (1/3 of income for the village improvements, 1/3 for restoration projects by village, 1/3 to expand lodges to other tribal lands). • We have the best professional team in Peru. We personally selected the most recommended multi-lingual graduates by the Deans of Archaeology and Tourism of Peru’s best university, -- rather than “want to be guides”. Our modern infrastructure was donated by Los Tambos Chachapoyanos and we are 100% Peruvian owned and operated. • We are the only ones that organized village tourist committees to defend their ruins and ecology. Our lodges’ staff and native guides for backpackers are the village’s best and more knowledgeable. In reality local natives make all of the discoveries then show them to gringos, and the gringos get all of the credit. • Before anyone ever heard of Chachapoyas we have been benefiting and providing exclusively in this zone for 19 years since 1986. Our donations include: - our lodges, solar electric for the INC facility at Kuelap, a huge generator providing electricity to 4000 people in 2 villages, a major ceramic kiln, supplies for the Leymebamba museum, kilometers of Inca canals, signs on Inca trails, and a ton of school & medical supplies, etc. etc. • Our team made all of the “cutting edge” research and restorations in this zone: The Inca Military Garrison in Levanto, the only restored building in Kuelap, and the funeral statue sarcophagus. We are positioned to advance these projects and restorations to volunteer groups as the INC gives permission for us to proceed doing more ruins and Inca roads. • Our attitude as benefactors extends to our honest dealings with travelers and agencies as well as the local people. Ask about us with any of the locals or officials of the INC, MINTINCE, PROMARTUC, etc. In reality this zone was largely unexplored 50 years ago and almost every ruins was found by pioneers expanding into these voids. Our close relationship and honest dealings with the villages gives us the cutting edge in logistics to the latest unfolding discoveries. Each year we are told of more new ruins than we have time to research. • We recommend legitimate agencies of Peru that we provide for in our zone because they want to benefit and preserve this zone while using the most knowledgeable and very best providing services. In the Cuzco Zone 85% of its tourist income goes to Lima. •
Our base is in the Dept. Of Amazonas in the Chachapoyan heartland. We have
created the ultimate best sustainable tourism model of Peru where all of
our donations and income stays in and improves this zone. We do offer pick
up services and facilities in Lima and offer pick up services in our gateway
cities of Chiclayo, Tarapoto, and Cajamarca. We can get you to Peru’s largest
most primitive wilderness of the Pacaya Samiria and down the Amazon River
to Iquitos as well as the “Egyptian” type of desert coast of pyramids and
royal tombs. We can arrange your trip to Machu Picchu and the Galapagos
Island with the most honest providers at the best value and quality prices.
We don’t charge a middleman commission in other areas but rather refer
you to agencies that use our services.
